Terms of service

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of Made By Vibing (the "Service"). By creating an account or submitting a project you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details secure and let us know straight away if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users at risk.

2. Submitting a project

By submitting a project you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate and not misleading.
  • You own the project or have permission from the owner to list it.
  • You have the rights to any logos, screenshots, names and copy you upload.
  • The project complies with the laws of the country it operates in.

We review every submission before it goes live and may edit metadata for formatting, decline listings that don't fit, or remove projects later if issues come to light.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Post anything illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit.
  • Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, scams or deceptive AI-generated content.
  • Spam the directory with duplicate, low-quality or AI-spun listings.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems.

4. Your content and licence

You keep all rights to the content you submit. By submitting it, you grant Made By Vibing a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and share that content as needed to operate and promote the directory (including on social media and in newsletters that reference your project). You can revoke this licence at any time by deleting the listing.

5. Boost! placements

Boost! is an optional paid product that gives a listing extra visibility for a set period. Prices, duration and placement details are shown at checkout. Boosts do not influence editorial review — a paid listing must still meet our acceptable use rules. Unless required by law, Boost! purchases are non-refundable once the placement has gone live; if a Boost is not delivered due to our fault, we'll either re-run it or refund the unused portion.

6. Third-party links

The directory links to third-party websites and tools. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, security or practices. Visit them at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

The Made By Vibing name, logo, design and code (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reuse or imitate them without permission.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, harm other users, or expose us to legal risk. On termination, your listings will be removed from public view; some data may be retained as described in our privacy policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing will produce a particular result.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Made By Vibing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of £50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We're an evolving project — features will come and go. We may update these Terms; when we do we'll update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
